Course Overview
This half-day training introduces the concept of neurodiversity and explores how differences in thinking, communication, and emotional processing shape our workplaces. Designed to reduce stigma and build confidence, the training offers practical insights into recognising and supporting neurodivergent colleagues.
Participants will gain a foundational understanding of key neurodivergent conditions, explore inclusive practices, and learn how to create environments where individuality is embraced and strengths are recognised.

What participants will learn:
Introduction to terminology around neurodiversity
Understand the main neurodiverse conditions and the associated strengths for each condition
Understand the concept of neurodiversity and the link between unsupported neurodiverse conditions and mental health disorders
Explore some of the common myths around neurodiversity and gain a better understanding of the challenges faced by neurodiverse individuals
Be introduced to sensory overload
